This is good, jadalton, but if you wanna make it as an 'Internet Tootorial Guy' you should take some advice from me, a Youtube Technician. Not that dark, though, haha! It's just like from ! Ok so let's lighten it up a bit. I'm going to hit Control Shift Y to change the color of my solid, and then let's see.that looks like a pretty good shade, right? Maybe a little darker. But actually a little bit of a lighter shade of red. OK, so now that we're done making our new comp, we're going to create a solid! For that we go to layer, new, solid, and then this box will come up, and I'm just going to make my solid red. Now I'm going to talk for LIKE SIX HOURS about the size of comp I pick, the frame rate I pick, and about how YOU could pick different ones if you want for your project, but for my tutorial project this size and frame rate seems appropriate. You just click on the little purple square that says AE, but BE CAREFUL because there's also a different purple square that says PR and you don't want that unless you want to do like I did in.
